“The specified server is already a site system for site .”
I am trying to install a new instance of the SMS Provider on a server. I’ve run Configuration Manager Setup and run through the Setup wizard.
However, after entering the new FQDN of the new server to host the new instance of the SMS Provider on the Manage SMS Providers screen, when I click Next > I get a Configuration Manager dialog box stating:
The specified server is already a site system for site . You cannot install the SMS Provider on a server this is already a site system for another site. Enter a different server name, or remove all site system roles from for site and try again.
The only option I have is to click OK.
