“Renewing connector certificate… Failed to call SaveAccountInfo. error = Unknown error” when trying to renew the Microsoft Intune Connector Certificate

A race condition may cause renewing the Microsoft Intune Connector certificate to fail.

If I look in the DMPDownload.log I see:
