Why does Windows Deployment Services randomly crash on my PXE DP when I PXE boot?

Why does Windows Deployment Services randomly crash on my PXE DP when I PXE boot?

I have enabled Pre-Boot Execution Environment (PXE), on my Distribution Point (DPs), in my environment.

Sometimes when I PXE boot it works and other times it fails. When I look on the DP running PXE and Windows Deployment Services(WDS), WDS has crashed.

I’ve tried restarting WDS but it makes no difference. If I reboot the server or restart both the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI), and WDS services I can PXE boot again but eventually the issue reoccurs – there is no pattern to it.

Looking in Event Viewer on the DP/ WDS server I see the following errors:
