Why is my Task Sequence not using my Alternate Content Provider?

I’ve configured an Application that can use the Alternate Content Provider (ACP) to use it to distribute Packages in my ConfigMgr 2012 Service Pack 1 (SP1) Site.

I’ve then created a Task Sequence that includes an Install Application step, within which I’ve included a single application.

Before deploying the Task Sequence I’ve configured the following options:
• Download all content locally before starting task sequence
• When no local distribution point is available, use a remote distribution point
• Allow clients to use a fallback source location for content

However, when a Client receives the policy for the deployment and begins to process the Task Sequence if I look in the ContentTransferManger.log I can see the ACP is not being used to download the content.

This also occurs if I click Install for the Task Sequence deployment in Software Center on the Client.
