“SCCM Provider is missing read, write, or delete privilege for the driver package source path” error when migrating a Driver Package from ConfigMgr 2007 to 2012

I am trying to migrate a Driver Package from ConfigMgr 2007 to 2012.

However, the migration fails and if I look in the migmctrl.log I see the following:

SCCM Provider is missing read, write, or delete privilege for the driver package source path
