Why aren’t Applications that use dynamic variable lists installed in ConfigMgr 2012 SP1?
I created an Application and didn’t check the Allow this application to be installed from the Install Application task sequence action without being deployed option selected.
In the Task Sequence I’ve deployed I use an Install Application step that has the Install the following applications option selected and references the Application above.
I then made a change to the Application and selected the Allow this application to be installed from the Install Application task sequence action without being deployed check box.
If I then change the existing Task Sequence (or create a new one), and deploy it whilst the Install applications according to dynamic variable list option is selected, the Install Application step of the Task Sequence doesn’t run applications that use dynamic variable lists are not installed.
