“This application requires Microsoft Silverlight” when trying to Sign in to the Intune Portal using Microsoft Edge

I am trying to sign in into the Intune Portal using Microsoft Edge. I manage to login and then I get the following error:

This application requires Microsoft Silverlight

Silverlight is already installed on my machine and I’ve even tried re-installing it but it makes no difference.
