“SetRegistrationState failed (0x80071770)” in ClientIDManagerStartup.log on Clients that repeatedly become “Inactive”
I’ve got some ConfigMgr Clients that repeatedly become inactive. These Clients haven’t sent any inventory information for more than 30 days and the Inventoryagent.log hasn’t been updated.
If I look in ClientIDManagerStartup.log I see the following error being repeated over and over:
[RegTask] – Client is not registered. Sending registration request for GUID:4874BD6C-CB98-4EEB-9F4F-721CC65B25C3 …
[RegTask] – Client is registered. Server assigned ClientID is GUID:4874BD6C-CB98-4EEB-9F4F-721CC65B25C3. Approval status 1
