Why isn’t Delta Discovery working for Active Directory User and Group Discovery when the “Enable delta discovery” option is selected?
I’ve noticed that if I have a Collection which includes other Collections, the total membership of the top level Collection is incorrect after Delta Discovery has run.
I’ve checked that the User is a member of the relevant Active Directory Group the Collection membership is based on and it is. Yet if I look at the User Resource.User Group Name value in ConfigMgr, it’s empty and explains why the User doesn’t exist in the Collection.
If I run a Full Discovery Cycle manually (or wait until after the next scheduled Full Discovery Cycle runs), and update the Collection then the total is correct and the User appears as expected.
