Why doesn’t the Console pickup changes to the Site Server’s Time zone being changed?
I recently had to change the time zone of one of my Site Servers from GMT +1 to GMT.
One my ConfigMgr Administrators wasn’t aware of the change and configured a deployment to happen using the default value of the current time for the Schedule when this deployment will become available and Schedule when this deployment will expire fields.
Checking their Console it was still using the original time of GMT+1 despite the time zone being changed. As a result the deployment happened an hour later than it should have done.
It was only after we closed and reopened the Console that the Console picked up the time zone change.
