“The SMS Provider reported an error” when trying to add a new DP to a Package containing multiple existing DPs

“The SMS Provider reported an error” when trying to add a new DP to a Package containing multiple existing DPs

I am trying to add a new distribution Point (DP), to an existing Package that already contains multiple DPs. However, when I try to add the new DP I receive the following error in the Console:

The SMS Provider reported an error

If I click the Details button I get a Quota Violation message followed by the details of the stack trace.
