“ERROR: DownloadContentFiles() failed with hr=0x80070197 Software Updates Patch Downloader”

I’ve got a ConfigMgr 2012 R2 Primary which is hosting both the Software Update Point (SUP), and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) roles.

I’ve setup a proxy server that requires a user account for authentication and also setup a user account in Site System properties for proxy authentication.

I’m trying to create and run an Automatic Deployment Rule (ADR), but the update fails to download.

If I look in PatchDownloader.log I see:
