As posted on the ConfigMgr Team Blog, you may see an issue if you are running ConfigMgr 2012 and KB2506143 for Windows Management Framework 3.0. This issue can potentially affect your clients so it is worth checking the KB for a workaround for this issue which is resolved in SP1 of ConfigMgr 2012 (so if you haven’t applied this update yet the advice is don’t and to wait until early next year when SP1 will be available): “We’ve been getting a few support calls regarding an issue with System Center 2012 Configuration Manager and the recently released Windows Management Framework 3.0 update KB2506143. Management points that are collocated with the client are experiencing failures because of an incorrect client health evaluation after installation of Windows Management Framework 3.0.  Please see KB2796086 for more information.
