Microsoft has just updated the following KB Article:
You cannot install applications larger than 4 GB on a Mac by using the System Center Configuration Manager client
Symptoms:
When you try to install an application package (.cmmac file) that is larger than 4 gigabytes (GB) on an Apple Mac by using the System Center Configuration Manager client, the package cannot be extracted.
