Microsoft has just released the following KB Article: Editing reports in Configuration Manager may fail when Internet Explorer is not the default browser Symptoms When attempting to edit reports in the Administrator Console on a System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Site Server you may receive the following error: Application cannot be started. Contact the application vendor. or When attempting to edit reports from the ConfigMgr console installed on a client computer, the action may fail with the following error: Cannot download the application.
