The System Center 2012 Configuration Manager client installation fails when BITS is not installed
Symptoms:
When you try to install the Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager client, the installation fails, and the following text is logged in the CCMSetup.log file:
This operating system does not contain the correct version of BITS. BITS 2.5 or later is required.
