So the Docs Team have released a slew of updates for ConfigMgr 2012 that includes updates for both the forthcoming R2 Release and that cover the existing product as well.
They’ve also updated the 2007 Library “to clarify the SQL Server best practice that when you use a domain user account, you must also configure the SPN for that account in Active Directory Domain Services.”
