So as 2017 is coming to a close and the holiday season is upon us, I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of our subscribers for the incredible support you have shown FAQShop over the years. Without your help and support, we would not be able to do what we do.

Although it may not seem like a lot has been happening on the surface, there has been plenty of activity going on in the background which has hopefully been transparent. Let me explain.

I was faced with a tough decision earlier this year.

Should I migrate all of the content out of OneNote back onto the site, or just continue creating new content on the site and get around to the OneNote migration at some point in the future?

I ultimately decided that because of the numerous benefits the migration would bring (such as centralising all content in one place where you could find it when you searched, improving access to Google so it could index the site, avoiding a hybrid solution, amongst many others), that the sensible thing to do was to sort out the existing content on the site before continuing to create new content.

The good news is that the migration from OneNote is practically complete and all of the existing links on the site have been redirected from OneNote to the migrated content.

There is still work to do, but at least I can now start 2018 with the site in a lot better shape than it was this time a year ago.

So, look out for lots of new content coming in 2018.

The other big news for 2017 is based on feedback (we do listen), we decided to revisit the subscription model. The old 24 hour and Annual Subscriptions have now been scrapped and replaced with a single 14 day, no risk, free trial. Basically, you can sign up for access to everything for free for 14 days. After this, you will be charged just £4 a month to continue your subscription which you can cancel at any time.

All that’s left for me to say is thank you once again and to wish you and your loved ones a Very Merry Christmas and a very Happy, Healthy, Peaceful and Prosperous 2018.
