The documentation on TechNet is fantastic, but it’s always been a pain when you’ve wanted to print or export multiple topics – until now. Check out this blog post: “In the January Live Meeting, we explored the notion of longer, more encyclopedic topics. Our current, more modular topics have some advantages. However, they are not easily printed or accumulated together for customization. To group multiple TechNet topics together for either printing or exporting to an XHTML or PDF file, please try the new Print/Export Multiple Topics feature, now in Beta. To try this out, do the following:

  1. Go here.
  2. Click the down arrow next to the Printer icon in the upper right corner of the page, and then click Print Multiple Topics.
  3. Follow the steps to create a collection and then either print or export the collection to a Web page or PDF file.

Make sure you have logged into Windows Live and that you have Internet Explorer 8 or 9 running in regular browser mode, not the compatibility view mode or Internet Explorer 7 mode. Also make sure that your document mode is set to Internet Explorer 8 or 9 standards under Tools->Developer tools. Please send your feedback to [email protected]. Thanks!
