Site Maintenance (CM07 TR)

I have run “vssadmin list writers” from a Command Prompt on my ConfigMgr / SCCM 2007 Site Server but I don’t see the ‘SMS Writer’ listed. Why don’t I see the ‘SMS Writer’ listed when I run vssadmin?
