ConfigMgr / SCCM 2007 Package is not decompressing to the “SMSPKG$” directory

I’ve sent a Package to a new DP. The PCK is appearing in the “SMSPKG” directory but the Package is not decompressing to the “SMSPKG<drive>$” directory.  Why is my ConfigMgr / SCCM 2007 Package is not decompressing to the “SMSPKG<drive>$” directory?

Why is there a large number of files in the ‘<drive>:\Program Files (x86)\AdminUI\AdminUILog’ directory on my ConfigMgr / SCCM 2007 Site Server?

On my Site Server if I look in the “<drive>:\Program Files (x86)\<install_directory>\AdminUI\AdminUILog” directory it contains over 3 MILLION files (3,007,851 to be exact) taking up over 19 GB of disk space. What I’m confused about is what are all these … Continued
