“Error 31 – A device attached to the system is not functioning. Source: Windows” when deploying a non-English Operating System
I am trying to install a non-English Operating System (OS), such as Chinese-Simplified or Japanese using ConfigMgr 2012.
However, the OS isn’t installed and I get the following error:
Error 31 – A device attached to the system is not functioning. Source: Windows
If I look in SMSTS.log I see:
Windows Setup completed with exit code 31
And if I look in SetupACT.log I see:
