Why are changes to the “Video Hardware Acceleration” setting not kept?

I’m seeing strange behaviour with the Video Hardware Acceleration setting.

If I Remote Control onto a Client and change this setting, when I exit the Remote Control session the change I made during the session is lost.

Why are Keyboard Shortcuts used in my Remote Desktop session being intercepted by Remote Control?

I’ve found that if I have a Remote Desktop and Remote Control sessions running on the same computer but connected to different target computers, keyboard shortcuts I use in Remote Desktop are being intercepted by Remote Control and affecting the machine being Remote Controlled as well as the target machine for Remote Desktop.

For example I’ve got three computers 1, 2, & 3.

• On Computer 1 I’ve started Remote Control session to Computer 2.

• On Computer 3 I’ve started a Remote Desktop session to Computer 1.

What I’m finding is when I’m at Computer 3 and start using keyboard shortcuts in the Remote Desktop session to perform actions on Computer 1, the same keyboard shortcuts are sometimes also being performed on Computer 2.
