No Status Messages displayed in the Admin console for the SMS_SITE_BACKUP task |
|
I'm using the SMS Backup Task. Until now I've
always looked at the 'SMSBKUP.LOG' to search for the word
'error' and
quickly scanned through it looking for anything untoward. However, towards the
end of the file are various status messages with the codes 5009, 5011, 5013 etc.
This is a known issue and one Microsoft have not committed
to fixing. To see the status messages for this task goto 'System Status | Status
Message Queries'. Select 'All Status Messages from a Specific Component at a
Specific Site'. Select 'SMS_SITE_BACKUP' as the component, select
the Machine and Time and then run the query to display the status messages. |
