Why can’t I see resources I want to add to a SCCM 2012 Direct Membership Collection?

I am trying to add a resource to a ConfigMgr 2012 Collection based on a Direct Rule. However, the resource I want to add isn’t showing on the Select Resources page of the Create Direct Membership Rule Wizard.

Why are the Collection Membership results for nested Collections incorrect?

I have a Collection that contains multiple nested dependent Collections. However, these don’t seem to be evaluating correctly as the membership data is incorrect.

Why does it take 30 minutes for changes to Collections to be reflected in ConfigMgr 2012 R2?

I’ve got several nested Collections in my ConfigMgr 2012 R2 implementation. I’ve noticed that if I make a change to a Collection either through the Console or by PowerShell it can take up to 30 minutes for the changes to be completed.

The problem even happens if I make a change such as changing the description and don’t modify the Membership Rules.

Collection not performing incremental update

I’ve noticed that some of my Collections aren’t performing incremental updates despite being configured to do so (the Use incremental updates for this Collection checkbox is selected on the Membership Rules tab of the Properties screen).

I’m running ConfigMgr 2012 in a hierarchy.

I had a problem with one of my Primary Sites so I uninstalled it and then re-installed it using the same Server name and Site name.

However, after performing the reinstall I now see multiple instances of the Unknown computers Collection.
