Do I need to run the "runmetersumm.exe" utility?

I am trying to manually run a cmd prompt as instructed by a MS article which will force date usage summarization of software metering usage:

c:\smstools\runmetersumm.exe sms_SITE

The problem is that I cannot find this folder or file anywhere on my SMS Server? I even re-installed the SMS Toolkit, but still I can't find it.

That could be because the Runmetersumm.exe utility is not a member of the SMS 2003 Toolkit 1. It was not released in that toolkit, and only provided in beta and release candidate builds of SMS 2003. For production environments, you should not need to use that utility, but rather let automated summarization occur according to the built in Site Maintenance summarization tasks.
