You cannot update the package source to the child site Distribution Point using SMS 2003 SP3 Beta build

A known issue in SMS 2003 SP3 Beta build prevents the child site from getting the updated package source from its Parent Site.

If you downloaded the SMS 2003 SP3 build before Jan 26, 2007, and have already installed it, you can install a hotfix available from the Connect website to patch the problem.

If you haven't installed SP3 you should download the latest version which includes the fix to this problem.
