Is it possible to setup a Standby
server so if a Site Server fails another one could step in and take over?

No, we don't
support that. You would need to have a backup/recovery plan to recover your
server. It's actually not as bad as it sounds, as clients don't interact with
the site server anyway, they interact with management points, client access
points, server locator points, and distribution points, all of which have
procedures for redundancy. Contributed By:
