| When I grant a Windows 2000 global group
access to an item in the SMS Admin console, when users connect they can't see
any objects. For example, they can see the "Collections" MMC object
but nothing underneath it. This problem is documented in
266712 "Security
Based on Global Groups Fails in Windows 2000 Domains." If you grant
users permissions to the objects on an individual basis then you don't get the
problem. The Q article details several scenarios where this problem can occur
and workarounds to these. |
