Backlog of DDR Files in DDM Inbox

I have two issues that seem to be a recurring theme. First, I have a backlog of DDR files in the DDM inbox. The same resource is identified more than once (e.g. multiple logins triggering NT Logon Discovery).

The problem is, the server does not seem to clear these up. The network in question is a small lab, where the SMS system has NOTHING else to do except SMS. The number of logins is minimal (i.e. a few per machine per day). Yet the backlog never seems to clear.

The second issue is, one of these machines is identified in multiple DDR files. It also has a client installed, yet it does not show up in the All Systems folder. Ideas?

I'd check to see if the SMS Executive is running, and if so, use SMS Service Manager to restart the SMS Discovery Data Manager thread.

Clients won't report they are installed unless DDM processes the DDR.
