"Access Denied" Message When Trying to Start the SMS_LOGON_DISCOVERY_AGENT Service

Goto the SMS Home Page

 
After an upgrade to SMS2 SP5 the service SMS_LOGON_DISCOVERY_AGENT doesn't start anymore I get the message Access denied. Has anyone got a solution for this?

It runs under the account SMSLogonSvc, if I add this member to the domain admins group it works again, but I don't think this is the solution.

Any suggestions?

The SMSLogonSvc account must be an admin account, as it starts a service. I've not noticed my site having problems after upgrading to SP5 (but maybe I didn't have logon discovery enabled).
