Is the SMS 2.0 Database Schema Published Anywhere?

I am trying to do some SQL for an XML report I want to write (basically create a view then export to XML). Is there a table/attribute schema for this product? Just want a list of system resource tables and their attributes with description, i.e. what attribute X is for?

Many tables/ attributes seem self explanatory but are found in more than one table...not unusual in itself but I would like to know which table I should get things from. e.g domain name, computername, IP, NetBIOS etc.

Microsoft don’t publish the SMS schema as this allows them to make any necessary changes to it either that they deem necessary or based on feedback.

Directly below is a link to download a zipped excel spreadsheet which lists the display name of the item in the resource explorer, the current and history table view you would find the item, and the MIF class.

Something else that may be of interest to you is another download from the same site called smsdb.exe (see link below). It's an SMS 2 database viewer. When I first downloaded it and tried it, I had a problem or 2 but I emailed Don Hite (the creator) and he was extremely helpful in resolving the issues I had.

Hope this helps.
