| I recently
installed a bunch of new workstations and removed the old ones from the
database and the network. The next day, they're back in the database. I
removed them again - next day, they're back. Can someone suggest a way to
permanently get these out of the database?

If you are running Network Discovery, are you using DHCP discovery? If so,
the client systems may have leases that are still valid. If so, DHCP reports
them as valid resources, even if they are no longer active on the network.

If you’re not using DHCP Discovery then look to what Discovery method
discovered the client.
