Refreshing Collection Information on a Child Site

I was wondering whether it is possible to retransmit Collections from the a Central site to Child sites? Since a Child site rebuild I don't seem to be receiving the full list anymore. Yet I am receiving security setup etc for those missing Collections. Equally inventory and status information is being sent up the hierarchy.

Create a file called "<sitecode>.SHA" (i.e. BBB.SHA) on SiteA and place it in the "\SMS_AAA\inboxes\colleval.box" folder. The .SHA file notifies SiteA to replicate all Collections and definitions down the hierarchy to SiteB.
