I have an NT 4.0 SP5 user that is
experiencing high CPU utilization from WUSER32.EXE, in the 80% and above range.
I searched the SWYNK archives and found a post from Won Hak Lee dated 6-8-99,
but didn't find a solution. Can anyone shed any thoughts on this? I am running
SMS 2.0 SP1. TechNet article
230255
"Wuser32 Service Hangs on Windows NT Clients" provides details of some things to
check.
This was a noted problem with SMS 2.0 RTM and SP1 with
Win9x machines which is supposedly fixed in SP2. High utilization of WUSER32.EXE
on NT workstations can be experienced during remote control sessions.
