We are getting the above error messages and you end up having to reboot the PC. It happens to Windows 95 and 98 PC's. It seems to be intermittent, there really isn't any pattern.

Ensure you are running DCOM 1.3 and WMI 1.5. You can duplicate (force) this error by manually running 'Hinv32.exe'. That way you don't have to wait for the next hardware inventory cycle. This is how I tested to find out that this was a (the) fix.  When I updated to latest DCOM and WMI, the errors went away.
