I’ve installed Windows 2000 Server
and setup a new Forest and Domain called FAQShop.com. I’ve configured DNS and
everything works fine. I’m now trying to add a Child domain called 'info.FAQShop.com'. I’ve installed a new server and I’m trying to run the 'Configure Your Server' wizard to install Active Directory. I start the wizard and click 'Next >', 'Next >' on the next screen to accept the default 'Domain controller for a new domain', select the 'Create a new child domain in an existing domain tree' option on the next screen then click 'Next >' at which point I’m prompted for some credentials and the domain name of the parent name. I enter the details and click 'Next >' but after a short delay I get the following error:
