| Whenever I try to connect
to a Windows 2000 server running DCOM, I experience a 30-45 second
delay.

discusses this problem. To resolve the problem move
"Connection-oriented TCP/IP" protocol to the top of the DCOM
protocols list on NT 4 clients and reboot the machine. |
