Can I slipstream Service Pack 2?

 In a word no. Microsoft has no plans to allow you to create your own ConfigMgr installation media slipstreamed with SP2. So your options are either:
  • Apply SP2 to an existing RTM/ SP1 installation.
  • Wait for Microsoft to ship the media that includes SP2 slipstreamed into it.

Why are there some 0 byte files in the extracted SP2 Download?
