Microsoft has announced the availability of the Cumulative Update 3 for System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager.
As well as fixing a whole bunch of stuff, R3 includes some cool functionality around having the ability to restrict which Management Point(s) particular Clients can communicate with, the ability for a Child Site to only perform a partial WSUS sync if it’s Parent Primary is under heavy load and the addition of the following operating systems being added to the list of supported platforms for Software Distribution:
- Debian 7 (x86)
- Debian 7 (x64)
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 (x64)
- CentOS 7 (x64)
- Oracle 7 (x64)
