Well last week I was very honoured to be invited to spend the week with the ConfigMgr Product Group in Redmond. This is a true “money can’t buy” experience and makes me realise how lucky I am to be a MVP. Unfortunately everything on Campus was under NDA but I can tell you the Product Group were very keen to engage with the MVPs and get our feedback on the product and it’s a great opportunity to not only feed back our burning issues and desires but also what you the community has expressed concern over. Suffice to say there was a lot of note taking on both sides. It wasn’t all work though, there was also time to socialise with my fellow ConfigMgr and non-ConfigMgr MVPs (always good to catch up in person), and of course the opportunity to meet new MVPs from all over globe. Personally I managed to iFly (indoor skydive), for the first time and I LOVED it. Also after countless years of trying to get to the Boeing Factory I managed to make it with my good friend Panu although the experience didn’t go entirely to plan (nothing to do with Boeing, ask me about it over a beer). So now it’s back to work and I’m already looking forward to next year’s Summit (assuming I get renewed). Thank you Microsoft (especially Claire and Wally) and my fellow MVPs for a great summit.
